CELEBRATE COMMUNIVERSITY
SATURDAY, APRIL 26, noon - 5 p.m.

Communiversity will be held on the University front campus and on Nassau and Witherspoon Streets, Saturday, April 26, from noon until 5 p.m. Sponsored by the students at Princeton University and the Arts Council of Princeton, the annual town-gown festival features free student and community musical, theatrical and dance performances, games, sidewalk craft sales and booths offering a wide variety of foods.  This year, nearly 60 student groups and 140 community groups are participating.

 

The International Center will continue its involvement with Communiversity bringing special international booths, foods, performances and activities to the event.  Highlights include the 2 p.m. introduction of countries and parade of flags from around the world presented by many of the international students from the University.

 

Children's activities will include moon-bounce, face-painting, balloon animals, a pet parade, sports clinics hosted by Princeton University athletes and cotton candy.  Also for kids, in celebration of Shakespeare's 444th birthday, there will be an opportunity to make a birthday card and have a free slice of cake.
